Embassies
Seventy-two missions, one stage
Chile hosts 72 foreign embassies accredited in Santiago, according to diplomatic mission registries. Each represents a country before the Chilean government and sustains, at its own scale, a life of contacts, events and negotiations.
The diplomatic corps in Chile has a Dean, the highest-ranking ambassador by protocol, who leads the annual greeting to the President of the Republic. From there unfolds a dense calendar: presentation of credentials, national day receptions, signing of agreements and the cultural agenda of binational institutes.
For Revista Diplomática, that diversity is the starting point. Every mission is a story, a country and a local network that deserves to be portrayed with accurate data and good photography.
