Letter from the Editor
There is a world in Santiago that beats every day and is rarely told in full. It is the 72 foreign missions accredited to Chile, their receptions, their agreements, their communities and the web of relations woven in residences, the Foreign Ministry and hotel ballrooms.
Revista Diplomática is born to cover that world with the care it deserves: the seriousness of a news outlet, the closeness of someone who shows up in person, and respect for the protocol that orders it. We are not tabloid press, nor an institutional bulletin. We are the chronicle of Chile’s diplomatic society.
This is only Year One. The page you are reading is the first sheet of an envelope barely opened. We invite you to follow it: embassies, society, international and interviews, month by month, reception by reception.
